Dr. Mogannam can also provide forensic evaluation. He completed his predoctoral evaluation at Utah State Hospital completing court ordered forensic evaluations. He primarily provided reports for the court involving competency to stand trial, but also has extensive training in criminal responsibility (i.e. Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity), and violence risk assessment. Dr. Mogannam is appointed by the court to conduct forensic evaluations in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Napa, Santa Cruz, and Marin Counties.

 

His evaluations can answer forensic questions involving some of the following issues:
